Lyons Information Systems, Inc.^® is an S-corporation located in Raleigh, North Carolina and was incorporated in 2001 when Ed Lyons decided to offer product quality and supply chain solutions to mid and large sized manufacturing companies. The goal was to create affordable and comprehensive software solutions that offered security, scalability, and global access to manufacturing performance information.

Ed Lyons, President and Founder of Lyons Information Systems, Inc.^®, has been developing and implementing business solutions for companies throughout the United States since 1979, and he has gained extensive experience developing quality measurement and supply chain software solutions in different types of industries. His experience includes work with large corporations such as Sony Pictures, Hughes Aircraft Company, and GlaxoSmithKline Inc (then GlaxoWellcome), as a software consultant and systems engineer.  The experience gained through developing successful software systems solutions in diverse manufacturing environments since 1979 has resulted in sharpening his tool-making passion while adding value to his ability to imagine new solutions to new problems.
