We work with our customers as partners during customization. Customers test their systems as they are developed, insuring that the completed system meets the business needs.

Risk free
We offer software escrows provided for all of our systems protects our customers from ever being left with an unsupported software system.  Through a third party software escrow company, our customers may gain access to all of their source code materials should Lyons Information Systems, Inc. no longer support their system(s). Our software is written in a popular, supported Microsoft language used in the majority of web-based quality management systems today.  Our database is also non-proprietary and be any of the popular databases used in today's software systems.

No Yearly Maintenance Fees
With our hosted systems, customer realize a significant cost savings by not paying yearly maintenance and support fees.  These waived fees are available for any of our hosted products. This means that 24/7 phone and email support is free as are general system upgrades to our products that are passed along to all customers. Unhosted system customers are required to pay a small annual maintenance fee and pay for product upgrades.

Free Software Updates
All system enhancements or changes added by Lyons across any of our products are offered at not additional charge to our hosted system customers, and at a small fee to our non-hosted system customers.  Of course, customizations to any of our system are available from Lyons.  All system software changes (updates or customizations) are uploaded to our software escrow repository and kept current as they are completed.  Customers receive notice of update events from the software escrow company and Lyons is not a party in the escrow agreement between the software escrow company and our customers.

Reasonable Hosting Fees
A reasonable monthly hosting fee is charged through an ASP Agreement between Lyons and our customers. There are no other costs charged by Lyons for your hosted custom quality management system.

Free Support
We offer free support to customers using our hosted systems, and guarantee 99.5% uptime availability to users. We offer an affordable annual maintenance agreement to customers who choose to purchase a software license rather than have their system hosted.

Initial Costs
We customize our base product to meet each customer’s unique business needs. This customization cost is the only charge to a new customer for one of our systems. If a customer chooses to purchase a license agreement for a non-hosted system, then a software licensing agreement is created after any customization work is performed.  

Tailored Solutions
We create a customized quality solution quickly and affordably. This offers significant advantages for our customers. During the customization process, a customer may view and test changes being made as they are being made through our  secured, web server within our development environment. In this way, customers learn to use their new quality management system as well as insure them that what will be delivered meets their business needs. This has been a highly effective strategy for delivering tested, custom products that immediately add value and meet customer expectations.
