If you have an existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or supply chain management software, LLMS integrates with it. Presently Lyons Laboratory Management System LLMS has integration with SAP ERP. Integration with ERP helps in maintaining consistency across all platforms and prevents duplicate data entry.
Must I first own LQATS to user LLMS?
No. LLMS is an independent product testing system that does not require any information from LQATS to function.
Do the same licensing provisions apply to LLMS as to LQATS?
Yes, the same policy of no seat licensing, free support for hosted systems, software escrows, data imports, and local management of the system by the customer are included. Licensing is determined by a database instance on each of our quality systems.
How are specifications managed?
For each industry type, specifications are grouped into test method templates. For example, the textile and apparel industry uses a set groups of AATCC and ASTM test methods and are mapped to built-in test results data entry forms within LLMS. The same approach would be followed for any other type of product testing requirements. Lyons Information Systems staff usually assists with creating unusual or uncommon test specification and/or test result data collection templates, if necessary.
